Online Marketing And Media Podcast

Sep 4, 2019

Last week was all about how you should think of your social media presence as if you’re a digital publisher. This week I’m going to focus on how the advent of video in social media has also led your patients/clients to expect you to become a “broadcaster” of content.

In order to use social media effectively in video, you want to ask yourself, “how do we create video that’s going to connect with your audience, build your brand, increase sales, and drive website traffic.”

In addition to exploring some of the traditional roles a broadcaster would hire in order to increase the number of viewers, I also have some tips on best practices and examples for today.

One of those tips I mention when I talk about composition is called “The Rule of 3rds”, which basically states that if you were to draw 2 horizontal and 2 vertical lines in your video, the intersection of those lines are considered to be the most visually interesting part of the video.
